WHAT A WEEKEND!
The National 4X4 Outdoor Show in Melbourne at the Melbourne showgrounds was August 21-23, and it was HUGE for the PJ’s team and we’re still talking about it!
The moment the gates opened on Friday, the show was buzzing. I couldn’t believe the turnout. Day after day, there was constant stream of 4X4 enthusiasts, families, travellers, tradies and industry professionals making their way through the site. It was the kind of crowd we love getting in front of.
a great crowd and plenty of conversation
The biggest highlight for us was just the amount of people we got the chance to speak with over the 3 day event.
Our stand was busy from start to finish and we had so many great conversations about canopies, touring setups, security, storage and ways of getting more out of your vehicle.
And it was great to put faces to names of people we’ve spoken to over the phone or online! Its one thing to send photo’s or tell someone how great the ELITE Canopy is, but its so much more satisfying to be able to stand next to it, open all the doors, turn on all the lights and really show off the bells and whistles.
I also really enjoyed meeting people who had never heard of PJs 4X4, let alone the ELITE Canopy. We’re so proud of our product so its always a good time when we get to show it off from scratch, and show people what a real, premium canopy can do.
innovation everywhere you look
It was so great to see how much the 4X4 industry has evolved. Clever ideas, new products and innovations making touring, camping, work and adventure easier, safer and way more fun.
There was no shortage of inspiration across every hall, including everything from new tech in rooftop tents and awnings to hardcore new navigation systems. Its so exciting to be part of an industry that doesnt stop pushing forward, and it definatley got us thinking about whats next for PJs 4X4….

Most importantly, a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us over the weekend.
Whether you came specifically to talk canopies or just had a quick look while wandering through, asked us a hundred questions or played our “dont press this button ;)” game, we genuinley appreciate it and had a great time meeting you all.
The National 4X4 Outdoor Show is always a great opportunity to mix it up with the 4X4 community, and melbourne did not disappoint.
We left the show exhausted, elated and inspired which I think makes this show an outstanding sucess.
